To make things easier, we offer full packing services for your move, which include everything from the floor to the ceiling. In addition, we offer partial packing services, which can be useful when you only need some of your furnishings and possessions packed, but not all. Our goal is to exceed the level of service and professionalism that other Boston moving companies offer by providing a more customized experience that will help to make your move as smooth and stress-free as possible. When we help you to pack for your move, we will not select only certain items to wrap. Instead, we will wrap every piece of furniture that you have with our protective coverings to safe guard each item from any possible harm.

To ensure that we will have the time to make adequate arrangements, we require a minimum of 48-hours advance notice to provide you with our packing services and we will charge the same hourly rate as your move for packing your belongings plus the cost of all packing materials.

Self-packing and boxes delivery

Every moving customer has a different comfort level from the other with those who prefer to pack some or all of their own residential or commercial belongings. Esquire Moving is the Boston moving company that cares the most and because your happiness is paramount to our success, we will do everything that we can to make the packing process easy for you. We offer box delivery and packing supplies at no charge within the greater Boston area and we charge $50.00 for box delivery outside of the Greater Boston area. Any remaining boxes after the move will be collected by Esquire Moving and you will only be charged for the boxes that you used. PACKING TIPS

Safety and efficiency are key factors in the packing process and are extremely important to Esquire Moving, your preferred Boston moving company. If you choose to pack some or all of your own belongings, how those items are packed will determine the success of your local or long distance move.

Make an inventory list of the furniture and belongings that you will be moving to your new destination, along with a list of items that you are donating or throwing away. This list will help to keep you organized and decrease the chances of misplacing or accidentally throwing away something important to you.

Before you begin packing, create an “Essentials Box” which you should keep with you at all times and you should personally transport. This box should contain items that you will need readily available during the moving process. Contents should include medications, valuables, important emergency and insurance documentation, toiletries, basic tools, a change of clothing, and any other essential items that you might need while your household possessions are in transit. An “Essentials Box” will be useful if you are relocating your company as well and it should include important business related items and documentation that you will need in case of an emergency.

Choose small boxes for heavy objects, big boxes for lighter objects, and medium boxes for everything else. Try not to overstuff any of the boxes, because bulky boxes will be awkward to carry, difficult to stack, and vulnerable to breaking or collapsing.

Do not mix your metal and glass items together in the same box to avoid damage and breakage.

Fill your boxes to the top and use as much packing paper as necessary to fill in the gaps for complete protection of your belongings.

Make sure that you put large adhesive labels on each box that you pack with a readable list of its contents, designated room or location, necessary fragile warnings, and your name while matching that information to your inventory list. This will help to avoid any difficulty locating your possessions when getting settled into your new house or commercial space and it will help your movers to identify all of your boxes.
