A useful piano mover quote begins with the exact instrument. Shape, weight distribution, removable parts, and finish affect how the crew prepares it. If you don’t know the model, a few clear photos will usually tell us enough to begin.
Baby grand and grand piano
A grand usually needs more preparation. Depending on the instrument and route, the crew may secure the lid, remove the legs and pedal lyre, wrap each piece, then place the body on a padded piano board.
Digital and player piano
A digital piano may be lighter than an acoustic one; a player piano may not be. Consoles, pedals, electronic components, removable stands, and the manufacturer’s instructions belong in the review.

Straps and load position keep the piano from shifting on the road. At the destination, we follow the route already reviewed and place the instrument in the agreed room.
