The past few weeks in the greater Boston area have been inundated with thousands of first-time and returning students from all over the globe moving to their college dorms or to their off-campus housing. Now that the move-in days have passed and you are all settled in – Esquire (The Best Boston Movers) would love to hear about your moving experiences.
It is true that we may have the professional procedures locked down, but college moving is in a league of its own with students who have to move in and out from one semester to the next. As a result, we are pretty sure that the student population has that part of the moving experience on-lock.
To sweeten your incentive for sharing your personal expertise with us, we will be awarding one resourceful student with the 2023 Esquire Moving Scholarship in the amount of $3000 to be used toward college expenses. All you have to do to apply is to write an essay sharing your tips and tricks for college moving. If you have some clever hacks that make moving much easier for you, then we want to hear about it!

You must be a current student who is actively enrolled within an accredited college or university and you must be in good standing academically with a minimum 2.5 GPA requirement.
Of course, we understand how expensive and challenging life can be after finishing college as you embark upon the next phase of your journey. Therefore, we will be accepting submissions from recent college graduates who have received their degrees within one year of the award announcement date.
PLEASE NOTE: Scholarship applicant cannot be personally or professionally affiliated with Esquire Moving, which includes current or past employees, independent contractors, private consultants or family members.
All applicants must write a 500-word original and unpublished essay on Tips and Tricks for College Moving.
Essays will be judged in three categories – originality of content, overall writing ability, and merit of moving tips and tricks. Essay submissions and postings that are incomplete or do not comply with the eligibility requirements, submission guidelines or scholarship rules and disclaimer information will be subject to automatic disqualification.
One winner will be chosen to be a one-time recipient of the 2023 Esquire Moving Scholarship in the amount of $3000. Scholarship winner will be announced on June 15, 2023 EST. The recipient may apply the award to any College/university expenses necessary from dorm room and off-campus housing to tuition, books or any other directly related college/university fees. The scholarship will be financed by Esquire Moving and the participating college or university of the winner will allocate the funds directly to the winner.
Scholarship application is only open to students enrolled in a participating college/university or students who have graduated within 12 months of scholarship winner announcement date, which is subject to verification. Only one (1) essay submission per applicant is permitted and all submitted essays will be subject to plagiarism authentication.
By submitting and posting essay in application for the 2023 Esquire Moving Scholarship, you (applicant) agree that you have fully read all of the terms and conditions of application and participation as outlined within the eligibility requirements, submission guidelines and scholarship rules and disclaimer information; you grant Esquire Moving royalty-free, non-exclusive rights to use, post and repost submitted essay content in whole, in part or modified as necessary for Esquire Moving reference or promotional purposes upon the announcement of the scholarship winner. In addition, you give permission to Esquire Moving to post the announcement of scholarship winner, which may include only your name, state of residence, and likeness on the Esquire Moving company website, blog or social media pages.
Scholarship applicant waives the right to claim any legal fees and any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages against Esquire Moving and scholarship applicant agrees to release and hold harmless Esquire Moving, their respective and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and heirs from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of application for scholarship, selection of winner, or receipt or use of any scholarship award, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized use or copyright infringement; (b) technical errors; (c) printing errors; (d) late or undelivered submissions; (e) errors in the administration of the scholarship application, review and selection process; (f) delays in the allocation of funds (g) misuse of scholarship award funds; (h) or injury or damage to persons or property.
Scholarship applicant is entirely and solely responsible for the creation of all essay content publicly posted or privately transmitted. Esquire Moving and its representatives do not control the content provided by the scholarship applicant and, as such, does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of such content. In no event will Esquire Moving be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages as a result of content provided by the scholarship applicant.
Any scholarship essay containing discriminatory, defamatory, hate-driven, sexually explicit, profane, vulgar or criminal content will result in immediate disqualification.
Any website, blog, social media site or other public forum where the scholarship applicant essays will be posted or where Esquire Moving will post scholarship application details are not sponsored, endorsed, administered, or affiliated with the 2023 Esquire Moving Scholarship.
Scholarship award is non-transferable and all federal, state and other tax liabilities arising from the scholarship award will be the sole responsibility of the scholarship winner.
Any and all personal details provided by scholarship applicants including name, residential or mailing address, phone number, and email address are considered private and confidential. Therefore, this information will not be disclosed to, shared with or sold to any third party entities and will be used solely for the purpose of scholarship applicant verification and winner contact. Scholarship applicants will not be subscribed to any mailing lists and will not receive any unsolicited materials or advertisements from Esquire Moving.
All eligibility requirements, scholarship details, scholarship rules and disclaimer information are subject to change at any time by Esquire Moving and scholarship application will be void where prohibited by law
